INTENSIVE PROGRAM for ENGLISH or for FRENCH with an ACTIVITY in the language of your choice to practice in context
Philosophy of this program
This program was especially designed for students interested in fusing creativity with language learning. Activities come as a perfect complement to the language courses. Workshops facilitate the immersion into the language of your choice thanks to very different learning situations and by working with self-confidence. Activities vary according to level. We offer you 3 different combinations of language course and activities.
5 classes per week (Monday- Friday 09:30 am to 03:30 pm)
6 levels:
• Beginner
• Elementary
• Pre-intermediate
• Intermediate
• Upper-Intermediate
• Advanced
Level is determined after a mandatory placement interview. Please contact us.
Composition of the course:
• 4 hrs of language courses from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (with a break of ½ hr.)
• 2 hrs of practice every day from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
List of actitivities by level:
• Beginners and Elementary: cooking, drawing-painting, yoga
• Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate: pottery, writing workshops, yoga
• Upper Intermediate and Advanced: writings workshops, digital photography, yoga

A total of 110 instructional hours
• Please note you will have to add an extra-cost of $50.00 for the following activities: drawing/painting (kit for beginner), cooking (ingredients) and pottery/sculpture (clay).
• Please note that any outside cultural activities will be at your charge.
In addition:
• Class size is limited to a maximum of 10 students, allowing more intimate and personal instruction
• Open lounge and library at your disposal
• Available healthy meal cooked with organic ingredients, by request
Refund Policy:
• Before starting the course : A FULL REFUND of tuition fees (minus an administrative fee of $75.00 for the intensive program)
• Once the course has started : you CANNOT be refunded
CONTENT
I Course Content for BEGINNER and ELEMENTARY
Two sessions per day.
The main focus of the course in the morning will be directed towards grammar and vocabulary or towards reading and pronunciation to help students learn to express themselves correctly.
In the afternoon, students will participate to a large range of activities to gain confidence in their expression by practicing in the language of their choice in different situations and by using what they have learned in the morning.
II Course Content for PRE-INTERMEDIATE and INTERMEDIATE
Two sessions per day.
The main focus of the course in the morning will be directed towards expression, listening and grammar. Some introduction of writing will also be offered.
In the afternoon, students will participate in a large range of activities. The main goal is help students to gain confidence in their expression by practicing the language of their choice in a various set of classical or unique learning situations.
III Course Content for UPPER INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED
Two sessions per day.
The main focus of the course in the morning will be directed towards listening comprehension, expression and debates, and advanced grammar. Some introduction of writing will also be offered.
In the afternoon, students will be pushed to express themselves in a wide variety of more or less usual learning situations and take risks in their expression.
