In response to an increasing demand from Montreal-based professional photographers and videographers, Creative Boost has made available the use of their seven studio spaces for short-term rental.
Looking East onto Sherbrooke
All studios have high, 12-foot ceilings and clean white walls, but each also has some unique aspect to accomodate the individual nature of any photo project. For example, studio 6 has a warm, wood flooring, a NE facing window and soft diffused light bounced from the builing across the alley and is ideal for portrait photography, studios 4 and 5 have massive factory windows amenable to product and commercial photography, and studio 7 is designed for controlled lighting projects.
Photographers are welcome to bring their own studio equipment or can arrange to make use of the equipment which Creative Boost has on hand for our evening photography courses. A freight elevator, kitchen and make-up room is also available and is included in rental fees. After the shoot, Creative Boost has the facilities for digital finishing, printing and framing, as well as exhibition space for any art photography projects.
Creative Boost is easily accessible by car, bus or metro in downtown Montreal (very near the Contemporary Art Museum), and the building, studios and washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
