In the first of many (we hope) open houses and cocktail parties, Creative Boost enjoyed a turn-out and showing that surpassed expectations.

From 7 to 10p.m. on a cold Friday night, Creative Boost was proud to show the creations of our first “graduating” class of photographers, ceramicists and artists. Invited guests began arriving even before the doors were opened, and the crowd soon swelled to the point that coat-rack space was at a premium. Despite the standing-room only situation, a positive energy was maintained throughout the evening as guests admired artwork and visited with the instructors and staff at Creative Boost.
On hand to entertain the crowd were Taf, who played a smooth groove of down-tempo beats, and Jenny, a wedding-cake clad songstress. Guest’s palates were entertained by bite-sized cup cakes and a selection of multi-coloured cocktails.
Creative Boost looks forward to hosting many more such events in the new year, and welcomes the opportunity to visit with old friends as well as to make new ones.
Creative Boost is easily accessible by car, bus or metro in downtown Montreal (very near the Contemporary Art Museum), and the building, studios and washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
