After using acrylics, wipe off excess paint with a rag, and wash brushes right away in lukewarm tap water and a small amount of mild soap. Always keep brushes flat or standing with the bristle end up, not resting on its hairs. Keep the brush hairs from touching anything when they are still damp; if lying flat leave the bristle end extending from the edge of the table.
